World Wide Web | This Drink Can Turn It All Around | We have all felt it, that lull that overcomes us from time to time whether it be from a long day of work, a long trip, a cloudy day, or many days removed from the gym it is something that can easily derail you on the path to reaching your goals no matter what that goal is.
It is almost like a sporting event with two teams competing against each other. Each team is looking for that momentum shift to help propel them to a victory. That lull that you might feel from time to time is your body on the losing end of that momentum shift, and each day that feeling overtakes you is one day farther away from you reaching your goals.
How does a person turn it around?
Believe it or not there is a very simple remedy for this problem, and it comes from something that you might already be consuming.
The 'magic potion' if you will to turn things around is coffee.
That is correct- coffee can swing that momentum shift in your favor propelling you to that victory.
Studies have been concluded linking the consumption of coffee as a means of treating depression. While that lull you might feel every now and then might not be classified as depression, coffee is still a way to help pull you out of it.
It is a bit of a mystery as to why this happens. We all know that the coffee is naturally caffineated, but there are also a good amount of antioxidants in this tiny morsel as well. Some of the caffeine is burned off in the roasting process, like as well as some of the nutritional value. The flavor of it too might simply be enough to help brighten your day.
If you are a chronic coffee drinker already you might have already caught on to this. It is possible that if you were to go a couple of days without having a cup or two of your favorite brew that life just does not seem as exciting.
For those of you that are not coffee drinkers and are having an off day, maybe give coffee a whirl. Yes, it is an acquired taste, but it can always be sweetened up with agave or honey. Both of those are naturally sweet, and some would deem them nectar of the Gods.
So the next time you are feeling a little on the lazy side, or you are debating about whether or not to go to the gym or lay on the couch, have a cup of joe and see if your senses do not perk themselves up. You will be amazed at how fast things change.
