You see, when it comes to getting things done in life, we all tend to fall into two categories: we're either a Starter or a Finisher.

If you're a Starter, you tend to be fantastic at getting going with a new diet or weight loss program. For the first few weeks, you feel invincible. You do everything you're told to do and it feels like you'll be motivated forever. But then the shine wears off. You realise it's not as easy as you thought. Your expectations aren't being met. It's taking way too long and it'sway too difficult to fit this stuff into your life. So then your enthusiasm wanes. You stop believing in yourself. You probably start blaming other things or other people, but the truth is you know this could be another weight loss attempt that you start but don't finish.

If this is like you, then it's time to do something different. The first step to change is awareness, so be aware that you tend to be a Starter and, this time - just keep going!! If you're just starting out with a new healthy regime, or weight loss program, or anything in your life, you need to learn to be a Finisher.

If you're a Finisher, you've probably got some great ideas about when and how you're going to get healthy and lose weight, but you just haven't got around to it yet. Chances are, you're waiting for the conditions to be right: when you're not so busy, or tired, or stressed... when your family are more supportive... when you can find your local health food shop... when it's a Monday... or the start of a new month... the list goes on and on. Finishers tend to be fantastic at completing things, but they're such perfectionists that they're always procrastinating and putting it off. They 'know' in their mind that they can do this thing when they get started, but they often don't ever get started.

If this is like you, it's time to get going TODAY. There has never been a better time than right this moment to get started on being healthier and in better shape. The conditions will never be perfect, and you will never finish if you don't get started. Finishers, you need to learn to Start.
