World Wide Web | Smoking Can Make Stupid | A recent study shows that smoking can cause damage to memory, learning and thinking skills. The effect was associated with the risk of heart attack or stroke-induced activity of smoking.

They collected data on the health and lifestyle of the 8800 people aged over 50 years and test their brainpower. The test is like asking the participants learn the words or the new name associated with animals in a minute.
Tests conducted showed in outline, the risk of heart attack or stroke "associated with cognitive decline."
Those at high risk showed Esar decline in cognitive function. The researchers also saw "consistent relationship" between smoking and low scores in tests.
"The decline in cognitive function due to normal aging. The numbers increase and disrupt cognitive function and day-to-day well-being, "said Dr.. Alex Dregan, one of the researchers involved.
"We have identified a number of risk factors that may be associated with accelerated decline in cognitive function, which may be changed," he said, as quoted by the BBC.
However, researchers have not found the influence of cognitive decline was the daily life. They are also not sure whether the early decline in brain function that result in dementia in the future.
